Chapter Summary from "Abou Ben Adhem" for class 9th, IX, Ninth Class
James Henry Leigh Hunt wrote a beautiful poem on Abou Ben Adhem. One night he awoke from a deep sleep. He saw that there was moonlight in his room. There was also an angel who was writing something in a golden book. He asked the angel what he was writing. The angel told him that he was writing the names of those people who loved God and Abou’s name was not among them. Abou asked the angel to write his name as one who loved his fellowmen.(adamjeecoaching.blogspot.com) The angel wrote his name and disappeared. The next night the angel came again and showed the names of those whom God loved. Abou’s name was on top of the list, It showed that God loves those people who love their fellowmen.
